My experience working with families includes pre-marital and marital counseling for couples, as well as work with parents and teens. I also work with male perpetrators of abuse/domestic violence, sexual addictions, adolescent life-stage issues, marital conflict, anxiety disorders and mood disorders.

I work with adults, adolescents and children to improve whatever areas of their life they are wanting to work on. My mode of therapy is Cognitive Behavioral. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, adolescent issues, marriage counseling, parent training, lack of motivation and negative thinking.

I help guide my clients through the grief process from significant losses, e.g. death, job loss, and divorce.

Relationships are what humans were created for and can be extremely life-giving. However, sometimes we go through hardships that may create distance or unhealthy behavior patterns in these relationships. As a counselor and former educator using a holistic approach, I take into consideration the unique needs and strengths of each individual I work with. I strive to create a non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and understood. By utilizing evidence-based techniques, I assist clients in identifying patterns, gaining self-awareness and developing practical tools to overcome obstacles.

I work under the motto, "The sun will rise and set regardless. What we choose to do with the light while its here is up to us..." I fully believe in journeying with my clients through treatment. I truly enjoy working with my clients on the variety of life's ups and downs. Generally, most of my work is with adults; however, I also see adolescents beginning at 16-years-old. Over the years, I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, and some of the more severe mental health problems. My other experience includes working with self-harm and suicidal behaviors, as well as behavior management.
