We all have an innate goodness, natural spontaneity and potential. We tend to disconnect from it in response to painful experiences. My commitment as a therapist is facilitation of healing and transformation towards joy and connection. I have been in the field for over 15 years and have worked with an array of populations. My experience is in the areas of trauma, PTSD, ADHD, adolescents (at-risk youth), relationship issues, divorce, and law enforcement issues. In addition, I have experience working with veterans to provide a second opinion and/or assessment in support of their VA Disability claims.

Trauma, major life events, or even stressors often leave us feeling off balanced and discouraged. Discussing those difficult times with a professional is a step in the restoration process. I provide a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where you can come and begin the healing process. During our sessions, goals will be set in order to help you get back to feeling balanced.

I received both my B.A. in Psychology & M.A. in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M. I’ve worked in various settings such as private practice, outpatient & residential.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. Since graduating, I have focused on the children/adolescent population in talk therapy and play therapy. Play therapy is a style of counseling that provides a safe place to express self through the natural communication of the age group/stage child is in. Play therapy affords the opportunity to teach coping skills and concepts on that same communication level.
