I help people who have lost their way get reconnected--to spouse or family, to God, or to their own dreams and goals. I work with individuals, couples, and families struggling through issues such as addiction that create distance among those they love; with individuals pursuing spiritual healing from emotional wounds; and with people grappling with cultural identity, transition, and stress, such as missionaries and children of missionaries. I have an eclectic approach for counseling individuals that integrates interpersonal, narrative, and strengths-based elements with my Christian worldview, and am buildling experience using Gottman Method Therapy for working with couples.

I have been helping others: Special needs, Relational, Behavioral, A&D, Elderly, and Children as a C.N.A., Foster mother, Care giver, Activity Director, and as a Therapist during my adult life. I have 10 grandchildren, and 4 are special needs children. I have several years experience providing Couples/Marriage, Family, and Behavioral and Mental therapy; and am eclectic in my use of modalities. I am an author with Good News and multiple other psychology sites. Heal and Hope Counseling Services, LLC have 3-5 counselors of diverse backgrounds, cultures, languages, and specialties!!! Sometimes what we need most in life is something that we don't know to ask for. Things like support, encouragement, appreciation, or maybe just understanding seem like foreign concepts. My goal is to assist you in developing skills that will help you to navigate life's challenges, and that help to build and maintain healthy lasting relationships. Often, our struggles make us feel like there is nothing we can do to change ourselves or our situations. I am here to say that it is okay to feel this way, and even more so, it is okay to ask for help. Hope is possible, healing can happen and there is more to you than your past experiences.

Hey there! I'm a therapist that specializes in couple's therapy and individual therapy for men ages 15-35. My primary expertise are in trauma reprocessing/integration, infidelity recovery/repair, and attachment maintenance in family systems.
