My mission as a counselor is to validate your experience, encourage healthy emotional expression, and embolden you to be more courageous and to take an active role in shaping your own life, all the while practicing self-compassion as you move toward understanding yourself. I want to create space for you to be your genuine, whole self in session, in hopes that it will translate to you being your genuine, whole self in every aspect of your life. I am an ideal fit for clients who are ready to dig deep and want to be heard and validated while also being challenged and held accountable.
As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), I am passionate about helping clients find freedom and recovery from eating disorders and diet culture. I want to help you break free of stifling expectations and outside pressures that drain you of your strength and peace.
I personally understand the vulnerability and courage it takes to go to counseling and face yourself and your struggles. It is an honor to be trusted with your story and to walk your therapy journey with you.
