To help you resolve problems in your mind, body, relationships, and lifestyle, I will work with you to improve your understanding of the source of your distress and refocus on what you value most. Depending on your preference, our work together may draw from traditional treatment approaches or utilize yoga therapy and mindfulness techniques. I enjoy guiding individuals and couples interested in finding the best way to overcome difficult relationship patterns, health-related problems, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I combine Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), yoga philosophy, and person-centered therapy, to treat a range of issues for the individuals that walk through my door. My mind-body approach, along with my background as a published yoga researcher and behavioral health specialist, will help you get back on track toward improved health and wellness.
Beginning therapy can be daunting, so I strive to make therapy comfortable and honor the courage it takes to arrive. Once we begin, I will work with you to find new perspectives on your life and what matters most to you.
