I work with clients of all ages. Adult clients come to me for a variety of reasons including anxiety, depression, work stress, relationship issues, and parenting questions. Loss and grief are often the root of these issues. I believe we need to change the conversation around grief. I am a spiritual person who welcomes clients interested in incorporating spirituality into their sessions.
I am originally from NY and lived for years in the UK as a therapist focusing on the needs of children and families as a therapist & teacher. Specialties for children include using art, sandtray, drama, movement, yoga & CBT. My specialty with adults is couples counseling; I particularly enjoy working with diverse couples at any stage in their relationship.
The most important thing when starting therapy is for you, as the client, to feel we are a good match. I view each situation as unique and I develop plans on a case by case basis. I work best with clients who are committed to exploration and change and can meet on a consistent basis. In-person sessions are currently prioritized for children and teens.
