Oftentimes people have difficulties facing their life stressors and/or experienced trauma. This can manifest itself by symptoms of anxiety, depression, unhealthy patterns in thinking or behaviors and unhealthy lifestyle choices. As a result, the different roles we play within our lives becomes affected and our relationships suffer. I help my clients navigate through their stress by helping them learn healthier ways of coping, while exploring together what factors within their life are contributing to debilitating or bothersome symptoms. I am here to help you on your life's journey and I aim to treat the mind, body, and spirit!
The treatment modalities I use are CBT, EMDR, Somatic based techniques, solution oriented, and Mindfulness Based techniques. I specialize in PTSD, other Anxiety conditions, Depression, Individual and couples therapy. I also provide sex therapy for individuals or couples struggling with issues around intimacy and sexuality.
My clients symptoms are oftentimes physical in addition to mental. I encourage my clients to get creative in their kitchens and provide them with unique, wholesome, nutritious and delicious recipes found on my food blog.
