A void that allowed black and brown people to be left to find sometimes inadequate ways of dealing with real mental health issues. As you search you will find very few people that look like me that are in profession of mental health. This is unfortunate. Although my caseload is hugely diverse, what comforts my clients is I represent what in my field is lacking...a representative from a disenfranchised group of people helping to build up the individual, repairing relationships and making families whole.

I love to help struggling families cope with conflict that can arise from our day-to-day lives. My goal is to help you identify factors (i.e. emotions, behaviors) that contribute to family conflict, and help families find a way to resolve these issues while strengthening the family core.

We meet each person where they are currently in order to take them where they want to be in life and living a life of sobriety free from alcohol and drugs.

Kristen has a Master's degree in Social Work and is a board-certified Licensed Master Level Social Worker in the state of Kansas.
