I believe that healing can occur within the context of a trusted relationship. I work with adults and families to help people better understand the things that are getting in the way of living a full, productive, and satisfying life. That could be a child’s struggle with emotional regulation, a parent’s difficulty with triggering behaviors or understanding how to manage challenging moments, or an adult who struggles to develop and sustain intimate relationships.
Psychotherapy is a process that allows us to begin to better understand what is at the root of these issues. It also provides us with a path forward: to begin to fully understand what we need, what we desire, and how to find fulfillment and joy in our lives. I have been a clinical supervisor for over 10 years, and also provide consultation to clinicians.
My style is warm, collaborative, and very much rooted in the belief that connection is the agent of change. I am the owner of Insight Family Therapy, a small group practice. We consider the therapeutic relationship a partnership, where together we will explore and understand the difficulties that are getting in the way.
