Accepting new clients. Change is possible and I love helping people discover this. Being a human is hard and frequently the messages we learned growing up can make life even more difficult. Together we take a deep dive into examining your patterns, and how you are currently functioning. Some of these patterns may be causing you pain and health problems. We sift through these emotions, gain a broader perspective, and identify tasks and actions outside of habitual responses that move you towards your goals. (I also offer Bowen Family Systems coaching for those who desire a more direct coaching experience.)
I use a family diagram to collect your family history. Through the diagram we track emotional process in yourself and family. We work to identify the patterns you are using and determine how these adaptive behaviors are functioning for you. I use EMDR, (when appropriate), to access and process symptoms which are not responding to "talk" therapy.
Together we will experiment with changing up your habitual patterns. We will play with some strategies with executable steps that lead to lower anxiety, more flexibility, and progress towards your long term goals. Please call or email with any questions. I am very excited to talk with you.
