As an experienced Clinical Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist, I can help. I partner with clients to change limiting beliefs and defeating patterns, discover strengths and embrace possibilities. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore difficult emotions, understand triggers, process deep wounds and become curious about all parts of ourselves.
My approach combines elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion focused therapy, family systems theory, mindfulness and internal family systems. My expertise includes anxiety, stress, depression, loss, parenting issues, self-esteem, divorce, family change and couple connection.
As co-founder of Parenting Perspectives, I help parents bring positive change to families. I offer practical tools to help parents understand the root of the unwanted behaviors, set limits, nurture self-esteem and resilience, implement effective strategies for power struggles and defiance. I work with co-parents to reduce challenges of divorce.
