In my 15 years of working with adults, children, adolescents and families, I have learned that everyone has incredible resiliency and amazing capacity for growth and change- regardless of the challenges they face. Each of us has their own unique gifts and strengths. As a therapist, it is my job to recognize those innate strengths and build on them in order to address whatever problems you are facing. Therapy can help you learn how to express themselves verbally and develop positive coping skills. For teens, therapy can be a safe place to gain important insights and move towards personal goals.

She has received her Master of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Science in Community Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University. She has certificates in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Jennifer’s theoretical orientation is Existential in that she believes that while we cannot control many of the things in life that cause of pain, we are able to control the way we think about them.
