In a culture that expects independence and perfection it is difficult to admit we DON'T have all the answers and might need help. I had a rocky childhood myself and it took an intuitive therapist to help me sort it all out. I had lost my sense of my true self, joy for life, connections to others. Therapy turned 'the lights back on'! Because I've 'been through it' I bring a level of compassion and empathy to my work that is sometimes lacking.
Between my emotional challenges and physical ones (cancer survivor), I can handle ANY issues brought my way. I have had my share of dark days. While I believe there are MANY ways to find healing, for me it's always been therapy. I don't pretend to know all the answers, I just create a safe place for us to find them together!
