I am a Clinical Supervisor with a team of providers with various openings for new clients looking for individual therapy, family therapy, mentoring (aka behavior coaching) and parenting skills classes. These services are offered in home, in the community, in our office, or online. We would love to see if we have a provider that is a good fit for what you, your child or family needs.

With specialized training in trauma and grief, I am here to walk alongside you. When we've experienced pain or loss, we worry that we will never feel like ourselves again. I encourage you that you can heal; those impacted by grief, loss or trauma can feel joy. Together we will discover deep healing. Band aids do not cover deep wounds, and treatment in grief/trauma can help. A caring relationship that fosters personal growth and integration- counseling works! I have 20 years of clinical experience working with couples, families, teens, school age children and adults. I believe my work has greatly contributed to enhancing the lives of my clients. I utilize a strength-based approach, which helps families to see beyond the problem and see opportunities for change. I strongly believe in building on family strengths to improve relationships and family functioning. I provide consultation and parent education designed to empower, educate and support parents in developing effective parenting strategies.

I work with clients from 12 years old through adulthood. I provide support to clients through a systemic lens while they process through depression, anxiety, ADHD, attachment injuries, and an array of other challenges my clients might face. I meet with individuals, couples, or entire families. Additionally, I specialize in attachment-based methods of therapy, and work with families to repair severed relationships through Reunification/Reintegration therapy.

Connecting with a therapist is no easy task these days. Finding a person who will listen without judgement, honor your current struggles, and sit with you as you sort through your next steps is an important part of connection. Whether you appreciate some humor, prefer to snuggle my therapy dog, or participate in hands on art, music, sand, or play therapy interventions, I have many ways to create connection with my clients. I also use creative interventions for clinical individual or group supervisions for graduate level students or LPCCs!

Like you, I am human. I’ve had many sweet moments in my life. But I’ve also had some experiences that were pretty brutal. Plus, some stretches in-between when I was simply adrift, dealing with tough decisions, feeling alone, a bit lost, trying to manage the tectonic shifts of being mortal. I was always grateful for family and friends. But sometimes they weren’t enough. When I finally gathered the courage to see a therapist for the first time, it was a remarkable experience for me, completely different from talking with my buddies! I felt like the counselor understood me in a way I didn't even understand myself.

It is important to find a counselor that is a good fit for you. While techniques, coping skills and tools have their place, I believe it is the relationship and trust built between the client and the counselor that are the main pathway in achieving insight and change. I would like to help you learn new and healthier ways to view your circumstance and to face the difficult times.

Starting your personal counseling journey is never a decision of weakness, but instead it's one of great strength and bravery. You are deciding to face the issues, change the patterns, and break the unhealthy cycles in your life and in your family. That is an incredibly brave thing to do, but I do understand that it's scary to get started. My hope and desire is that you feel supported and empowered throughout this process. I hope to be able to provide tools, guidance, and support as you walk out your journey of healing. I am a Christian and will incorporate faith-based elements when it's welcomed, but that is completely up to you.

Healing trauma and attachment is my passion. It is my job to partner with you while we work to improve your relationship with yourself, and in turn with those around you. I am the agent to hold stress and tension with you as we work together to move past self-preservation and into healing. With specialized training in complex trauma, attachment, abuse, and adoption I work with all individuals (adults and children), and families through a variety of psychotherapy approaches determined by your needs. I work with all ages and stages of life.

I am an intern working towards a dual degree in mental health counseling (MHC) and school counseling. I attend Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I am currently working for RMU's counseling clinic via telehealth. I am also under the supervision of Lauren Prior here in Greeley. My focus is grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ, and neurodivergence. I know seeing an intern may not be your first choice, but there can many advantages. Everyone is different and that's okay. We all struggle and that's okay. We all deal with difficult and hard times and sometimes we just need a little support. During our journey together we will travel those difficult areas in life while discovering those personal strengths you already possess. My hope is that through a strong relationship built on trust, understanding, and even a little humor we will find a level of healthy freedom. Anxiety, depression and self critical thoughts can take the joy from our lives and leave us feeling hopeless and alone. Our relationship with food may be unhealthy and we may feel suicidal or compelled to self harm. We want to move through the world with confidence while living a life of purpose but are overwhelmed and feel stuck. Goals go unmet, and our world becomes smaller as we resist challenges in our social life, school and career, out of fear and discomfort. We want to have more friends, do well in school and have a satisfying job or family life. We want to be happy and fulfilled.

My clients are individuals, couples or families who want to improve their emotional wellness. They might be going through a challenging period in their life, may struggle with interpersonal relationships, conflict at work, or they may be looking to improve their marital or family dynamics. Ultimately, they possess the tools they need to improve their lives - through therapy, we bring those tools to life.

Why the name Pink House Counseling? I have worked with children and families for over a decade. I was working with a neuro divergent kiddo who saw lots of different therapists, speech therapist, occupational therapists, etc. I had a pink dollhouse in my office, and I was dubbed the "pink house counselor." What creativity! I love working with kids and am passionate about creating a safe, warm, and empathetic environment where we can work on struggles in school, parent child relationships, behaviors, early child childhood trauma, grief and loss, or anxiety and depression; and parents we won't leave you out!
