Hi there, I'm Vanessa. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor living in the state of Texas. Often reducing depression, anxiety, and stress are common goals I have assisted in attaining. Also, grief processing and improving family communication skills are needs I have addressed. For my approach I choose Reality Therapy. I also find Cognitive/Behavioral techniques useful.

My mission is to help all my clients make quality improvements in their lives. I have years of experience in individual, family, couple, and group counseling. I integrate several forms of psychotherapy approaches such as Internal Family System, BrainSpotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral therapy (TB-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and more, to tailor treatment to my clients' individual needs. My intervention styles and commitment to my clients' total wellness help them achieve the successful resolution of their underlying issues and traumatic reactions.

Often times life happens and brings about changes, that affects individuals ability to adapt and adjust to those changes. We sometimes seek unhealthy temporarily relief due to the stress associate with such changes. This can often lead to more difficulties such as Depression, anxiety, family conflict, substance use, relationship, and behavioral issues etc. I am here to help you navigate through those life changes by providing a safe non-judgmental space for you to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors related to such changes and help you increase self awareness, self-worth, and value, while creating healthy coping tools.
