I am also trained in ART which is a procedure that heals using bilateral eye movements to shift sensation and emotion, peeling it away from the images that cause the discomfort.

My patients include children as young as 7, adolescents, adults and seniors in their 80's. Clients are often referred to me for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relationship issues and sports-related performance concerns. I also have experience working with individuals and families where there are life-threatening health issues, infertility and pregnancy loss for both mothers and fathers.

I believe that therapy is a joint venture between the client and therapist. It is a way to learn about how each construct the meaning that forms our lives and our feelings and to take responsibility for constructing them to be what we wish. My role as therapist is to correct, understand, empathize, suggest and confront. Therapy can be in turn difficult, fun, painful, confusing, boring, upsetting and once in a while transcending. Because the construction of meaning in our lives is active, I am not a passive listener but an active participant in the process of relationship and change.

Drew Horowitz has a vast range of experiences in working with addiction and mental health disorders. He has gained a wealth of knowledge through his own recovery, extensive training, and a master's level education from the Hazelden Graduate School. Drew has several years of professional experience in addiction services. He has worked extensively within a multitude of populations. After spending nearly 5 years with Hennepin County as a co-occurring mental health and substance abuse professional, Drew went into private practice where he treats individuals and families.

Holly holds a master's degree from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She welcomes working with adults, teens, couples, and families regarding relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance abuse, communication, addictive behaviors, aggression, GLBT issues, parenting and emotional dysregulation. As a group facilitator, Holly is both dynamic and engaging. She is trained in Brainspotting, EMDR, Gottman method, as as well as Aggression Replacement Training. Holly has also worked with Alzheimer's/Dementia, and family caregivers at the University of Minnesota and Fairview Hospital.
