As someone who has directly dealt with personal trauma, depression, and anxiety in the past; I understand how hard it is to take the first step into therapy and beginning the walk to heal. My goal is to make the first step into this journey for you safe and comfortable. I approach my clients with empathy, sincerity and evidence based treatments that have proven to be beneficial. I have spent the majority of my life dedicating my time to helping others in a medical and therapeutic capacity.
As your therapist, I am devoted to helping you along your healing journey by utilizing the fundamentals of Cognitive Behavior therapy, and integrative techniques to meet each individual where they are. I believe it is important to listen to each person’s story individually and not assign a “conveyor belt” treatment for all.
I have worked for the past five years in a private practice seeing clients who range from depression to severe mental illness. I am also certified by FEMA for crisis counseling, CARE-suicide awareness/prevention and certified in Psychological First Aid by the National Institute of Mental Health.
