Our methods are based upon the recognition of the uniqueness if the individual, whether it be in a crisis situation or just an opportunity to learn about ourselves and grow. Our approach combines sensitivity and caring with years of clinical experience.

I am a licensed clinical therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults with a wide array of emotional, cognitive and behavioral concerns. I am currently serving the Lake County area at Counseling and Behavioral Solutions, Inc in Leesburg but have worked in outpatient agencies, inpatient settings, and within the public school system. I feel my varied experience has equipped me to meet the client where they are in their personal journey toward emotional stability and balance, while also helping them navigate and advocate for their needs in the larger community.

In everyone's life, we have mountains to climb. Some we can manage easily, but some are higher than others. One of the first things asked of me when creating this website profile was to describe my ideal client. I don't think I have an ideal client. To me that implies that I can pick and choose my client's problems, symptoms, relationships, and so forth, and it's that same individuality and variety of people and presenting concerns that I value. I wouldn't change that if I could. I meet a lot of people who don't really know what they need or cannot visualize/verbalize their true goals. Discovery can be a part of the therapeutic process.
