I work well clinically with people who want to feel more peaceful, people who feel stuck and want change, and people who are trying to heal from past experiences that have damaged their trust in others or themselves. I also work well with people who feel different from others, who want to increase their self-confidence, and who want to increase or strengthen healthy relationships in their life. My clinical style is empathetic, flexible, creative, and goal-focused. The therapy environment I provide is warm, nonjudgmental, and empowering. I am currently accepting new clients starting November 1st, 2020.

Do you feel like you are strapped on a roller coaster of anxiety and depression and can't get off the ride? We can feel out of control because of life changes, relationships, and significant events. We can become stuck in our own unhealthy thoughts, emotions, actions, and responses. Sometimes we hyper-focus on relationships and fixing other people. Or we may develop unhealthy patterns when using things outside of ourselves to experience immediate relief and help us cope. This may include alcohol, marijuana, pills, food, porn, exercise, gaming, social media, shopping, and gambling.

I first want to congratulate you on having the courage to embark on a journey to obtain optimal wellness and healing. I understand that taking the step to receive therapy can be difficult as you are inviting someone in your personal life during an uncomfortable and vulnerable time. My job is to give you a welcoming and safe environment to explore your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental environment.

If life seems confusing, heavy or difficult, I believe that together we can empower you to successfully face areas of concern; we can look at patterns that have developed and how to lessen their grip on you; we can learn new coping skills to help you maneuver in a supportive and connecting manner; we can find joy and hope in your life. In the more than 20 years that I have been a therapist, I have honed an eclectic-style of guiding therapy, using the skills that I have in the best interest of meeting the needs of my clients. I feel as though what sets me apart from other therapists is my drive to help clients deal with the things they struggle with. When I entered college, I initially wanted to be a psychiatrist, but I decided I didn't want to simply prescribe pills: I wanted to know people and to help them. So I chose psychology instead of psychiatry.

My vision is to enable people to experience God's powerful grace in order to live in true freedom, transformation and discovery. I provide a pathway for people struggling on the journey to find hope for their broken hearts, healing for their wounds, and a hiding place to wrestle with the grace of God.

My passion for helping others through grief and various life traumas has become a privilege of joining people on their journey through healing. Whether you are struggling with a loss, life transition, anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, Childhood Disorders or looking to improve your marriage or relationships; my goal is to provide you with an empathetic, trusting and peaceful environment where you can find strength and healing.

From the outside looking in, people see someone who “has it together.” Perhaps this is related to your family, job, marriage or community. From the inside looking out, you see a world full of pressures, expectations and a need to cultivate happiness for those in your life, sometimes at the expense of your own sanity. I often hear from clients that they feel “stuck” in the same cycle of life and can’t seem to find satisfaction, despite having many of life’s “checkboxes” marked off. Experiences of chronic anxiety and worry are common though they keep moving through the motions of life.

She has served as the guidance counselor for a local private school for K-12th grades. Meredith has a passion to help children & teenagers, college aged women, parents, and couples discover who they are & live the full life they were intended to live. So many middle school girls are struggling socially right now. What do you do if this was supposed to be "your year" to put yourself out there and make friends, and instead you're stuck at home in your room all day? It can be hard to stay in touch with people when you’re trying to talk over a bunch of other kids in an all-class Zoom call. This is especially true for girls who feel their interests don't always line up with other girls their age--how do you meet other like-minded people who are going to really "get" you?
