I have over 26 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I worked extensively with trauma, addictions (substance, sexual), anxiety and depression. My background is in chemical dependency training at state and local hospitals where I worked at various levels of care from those who are very early in recovery to those with sustained recovery and ending at a community mental health facility where I supported individuals in transitioning to medication assisted treatment out of Department of Corrections. I was trained as a Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor and worked supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence while they transitioned out of narcissistic patterns of abuse. I have worked with children who have mood disorders, attachment disorders, and conduct disorders.

I believe in treating the whole person, mind and body. Relationship is so important when you are seeking support and guidance and one of my strengths is in establishing a secure relationship. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced trauma and am certified in EMDR. I also have a background is co-occurong disorders and my degree specialized in this concentration. I worked for my years in geriatrics and enjoy working with a wide variety of populations. Your privacy, personal growth, journey with mental health and healing and autonomy are important to me.
