Hello - I am a counselor who is also a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse with 40 years of experience, including 20 years of practicing Clinical Hypnosis for a myriad of issues: anxiety, trauma, depression, and pain, to name but a few. I also train clinicians to utilize Clinical Hypnosis and am an Approved Consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. I focus on finding and treating the cause of the symptoms and in this way, most symptoms are markedly reduced and, often gone altogether. I am a clinical psychologist and a school psychologist. I hold a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. Practice settings have included counseling centers, research hospitals, schools and psychiatric inpatient facilities. These experiences have provided me with knowledge of many challenges an individual may face including experiences of oppression and inequality, as well as a deep appreciation for and fascination with the richness of the human experience. My style of work is warm, analytical and collaborative, balancing deep emotional work with elements of humor and lightness when appropriate.I also offer clinical supervision.

I am an LICSW new to the Burlington area, currently working at Otter Creek Associates. My current practice draws from a wide range of modalities including CBT, ACT and mindfulness/experiential based approaches to help children, adults, seniors and families address a wide variety of problems and symptoms.
