I believe that all people have the capacity to find paths to healing and make changes in their life. As a trauma informed/affirming therapist I also know that things happen that can make us feel anxious, stuck and alone. I am glad you are looking into giving yourself this opportunity! I utilize a relational and trauma informed approach that is collaborative and allows space for all aspects of who you are. I strive to always integrate an intersectional and social justice framework that allows space and weight for experiences of one’s social identities.
I offer individual, couples and family therapy, working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience providing caregiver treatment when dynamics at home with your loved ones have become unmanageable. My other area of specialty is with the LGBTQIA community who are exploring ways that gender and sexuality are impacting their lives.
I believe in creating an open and affirming space to look at what paths have brought you to your current experiences and collaborating with you to gain new perspectives, skills and celebrate your resiliency.
