I have been working in mental health for 13 years. Working with my clients and supporting my clients has been a privilege and such a joy. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree in 2008 from Southern Arkansas University. In 2012, I pursued a Masters of Science in Addiction Counseling and in 2014 I received a Masters of Science in Professional Counseling. Most recently I obtained a Post Masters Certification in Marriage and Family Counseling.

The opportunity to engage with someone who really "gets you" at a deep level can have remarkable transformational power. I am passionate about helping people as they undergo major transitions in their lives such as loss, changing jobs, leaving for college, getting married or divorced. Greetings, I'm Christopher Lewis, a dedicated and passionate master’s level intern currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Family & Marriage Counseling. Throughout my career, I have come to understand that a personalized approach is essential when guiding individuals through the complexities of life. Hey Mama! As a mom myself, I understand the struggle you might be facing right now - loss of identity, postpartum anxiety, lack of sex drive or interest in sex. I know what you are going through not only because I have experienced it, but because I have come out of it, and have gained knowledge and training in how to work with moms experiencing just this! We can work through these struggles together. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and Certified Sex Therapist. Being a source of support for moms during this delicate time is something I cherish.

Jared Wilke, Psy.D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California. He is currently practicing at Family Counseling Center, which has served the North County community in outpatient counseling for over 25 years. Dr. Wilke enjoys working with teenagers and young adults, their families, as well individuals and people seeking marital therapy. **Please note that currently for residents of Texas, I am only able to do appointments by video/phone. These options are also available for residents of California if needed or requested.
