I am a Licensed Psychologist and the Clinical Director of Sollars and Associates Integrative Counseling and Psychological Services. I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area and our group practice spans across the state of Michigan. I'm formerly the Director of Brighton Center for Recovery(Brighton Hospital) and have been in private practice since 2014. Brain health is so important to our outlook on life. I love working with "high energy " boys and their parents. Whether they are diagnosed with ADHD or simply need some help with directing their energy and impulses to improve life at home and at school. In terms of adults I work with couples who are struggling to connect emotionally and have the same unresolved issues that come up over and over again. The third client group I work with are adults struggling with addiction and those with a history of childhood trauma, particularly emotional and/or sexual abuse who are trying to heal and grow beyond the abuse. I am also uniquely qualified to work with traumatic injury recovery.

I have been a therapist since 2003 and if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that everyone needs someone to talk to.
