I enjoy working with families and individual adults dealing with conflict, codependency, depression, anxiety, some trauma, and life transitions. Each of us is faced with unique challenges, but I believe each family and individual, no matter how broken, also embodies the unique strengths that can be used to overcome these challenges. My role is to walk alongside those I work with to help identify these strengths and restore relationships that will help create lasting change.
I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Child and Adolescent counseling. I use Structural Family Therapy techniques,CBT and DBT. I focus on both individuals and families in order to foster personal growth while establishing a safe environment to support lasting change.
I grew up speaking both English and Spanish and love to work with native Spanish speakers. My life experience overseas, along with experience in both ministry and education, has given me a broad perspective with which to better understand my clients.
