Being a therapist and helping others is my passion. I love working with all ages. At the LifeVesting Group we strive to help anyone we can; from all walks of life. We see individuals, families, & children; using Play Therapy & Sand Therapy for children. We have 3 licensed therapist in our Mobile office; we are able to help a wide variety of individuals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, Animal Assisted Play Therapist, with a MS in Marriage & Family. I use Family Systems, Direct Solution, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eclectic, and Child Centered Play Therapy approaches.

Michelle Counts, LPC received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and serves as a crisis response therapist for Disaster Victims Services. Michelle enjoys working with children, adolescents, individuals and couples. Her clinical background includes in-home, residential and outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She also has extensive experience in grief counseling as well as marriage and family therapy in a private practice setting.

Welcome! My name is Tanika Montgomery, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I am located in Semmes Alabama. My goal is to aid you through the appropriate changes needed to promote growth by changing your thoughts, patterns, and feelings. I am committed to working with you as a client by respecting your values, while focusing on your goals, and helping you obtain a mentally, spiritually, healthier you. My goal is to provide a holistic approach to meet you where you are to become a healthier version of yourself in every aspect of your life.

I am a clinical psychologist. I work with children, adolescents and adults in individual, couples and family therapy. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology. I offer a confidential, accepting milieu in which my clients can work to identify issues, resolve conflicts, change patterns of thinking and styles of behavior that may contribute to their dissatisfactions in life. Psychotherapy is a process in which we work together to gain insight into who you are and we develop systems of change to help you create a more personally fulfilling life.

I am a family medicine doctor with experience taking care of the mental health needs of both adults and children. I am passionate about providing affordable, convenient care. I strive to find the unique balance in each patient between medical and behavioral/therapeutic management and tailor the treatment to each patient based on their needs and desires.

As a Christian Counselor, I most often work with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, and/or spiritual concerns. I have over 30 years of professional experience specializing in marital, family, and individual counseling with adolescents and adults. I am blessed to be in practice with my husband, Dr. Ab Abercrombie, and we often work together when counseling couples and families.

My goal is to take a holistic approach, to see the client as a unique individual and expert of their own life, and tailor the treatment to reflect what would best serve their needs. I would like to share with clients techniques that incorporate evidence-based practices, as well as mindfulness and positivity, to teach them how to calm their over-stressed nervous systems, to gain clarity in their chaotic lives, and unload burdens in a safe and therapeutic environment without judgement.
