I have particular expertise in helping people faced with difficult life choices, including marital/parenting difficulties, career dilemmas, health concerns, and losses. People often seek me out to feel more vital and to live more authentically. I also treat young adults who need help finding a genuine direction for themselves.
I am a psychotherapist/psychoanalyst, Distinguished Scholar/Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, received the Simmons Distinguished Career Award, the NIP Educator's Award and the Sabshin Award from the American Psychoanalytic Assn. My PhD is from Columbia, interned at Harvard, staff at Tufts, and faculty at Columbia, USC, Loyola and U of Chicago.
