Our Team
You may seem functional on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, numb or lost inside. I work with trauma, relationship wounds, postpartum mood disorders, addiction, and narcissistic abuse. With 23+ years of experience, my approach is warm, grounded, and direct. Therapy with me isn’t about "fixing" you - it’s about helping you feel seen, safe, and steady again, while creating lasting and sustainable change. When survival mode has taken over, I help my clients rebuild, deepen connection, and restore balance. I’m an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and founder of Falls Church Wellness Center, where mind-body healing is central to our work.

You are a lifelong learner of your own experience—whether you’ve always known that, or you’re just beginning to sense it. Therapy can offer a supportive space to better understand yourself when life feels overwhelming, painful, or uncertain. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin; you simply need a place where you can show up as you are. As a counseling intern at Falls Church Wellness Center, I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your lived experiences with care and intention. I view therapy as a partnership grounded in curiosity and trust, where we work together at your pace.

You may look composed on the outside while feeling anxious, stuck in familiar patterns, or disconnected beneath the surface. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and navigating perfectionism, life transitions, identity shifts, or emotional burnout, yet sensing that insight alone isn’t enough. I work with individuals who are ready to move beyond coping and into deeper healing, reconnecting with themselves in a way that feels grounded, meaningful, and sustainable.

If you feel stuck, confused, or silenced in a relationship - whether with a partner, your family, friends, or in the workplace - I provide the specialized insight to help you untangle. I focus on the 'invisible' trauma of coercive control, narcissistic abuse, and toxic dynamics. Together, we’ll make sense of your story, stop the cycle of second-guessing yourself, and navigate big life changes with clarity. My goal is to help you feel like yourself again - able to trust your gut, make your own choices, and finally breathe, free from the fog that’s been holding you back.

If you’ve been through experiences that have left you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are or where you’re headed, you don’t have to navigate that on your own.
I practice through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, supporting individuals navigating difficult experiences, identity questions, and major life transitions. I have a particular focus on working with refugees, immigrants, and those impacted by systemic violence, shaped in part by my time living in Ukraine and working with people in high-stress, uncertain situations.

You may feel like parts of your life don’t fully connect. Like you’re holding it together on the outside, but internally things feel fragmented, overwhelming, or hard to explain.
Maybe your past shows up in ways you can’t control, or you’ve never felt fully safe being yourself. If you’ve tried to push through or even been in therapy before and still feel stuck, you’re not alone.
I specialize in complex trauma and dissociation (OSDD/DID), as well as the impact of religious, cultural, and identity-based experiences. You could be one who is those navigating neurodivergence, queerness, or both. Venn-diagrams are fun!

My work as a Registered Nurse revealed something I couldn’t ignore: mental health is just as important as physical health, yet it is often overlooked. Healing is rarely one-dimensional, which is why I approach therapy holistically—considering the connection between emotional health, nervous system regulation, relationships, lifestyle, and personal meaning.
You deserve a space where your whole self is valued. I support individuals navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, illness, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Being human can feel overwhelming, isolating, or uncertain at times, but you do not have to move through it alone.

This is a safe space for all parts of you, just as you are. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when chronic anxiety, overthinking, self-worth, and relationships overlap in ways that feel hard to untangle. I support those navigating anxiety and stress, identity and self-esteem concerns, relational patterns and wounds, chronic illness (POTS/EDS/etc), and times of change. My work is grounded in a culturally responsive, compassion-focused, and queer-competent approach, offering a collaborative and relational space to explore patterns, reduce anxiety, and create meaningful change that goes beyond coping alone.

Do you ever feel like you’re holding it together on the outside, but inside you’re anxious, exhausted, or just not as okay as you “should” be? Maybe your mind rarely slows down, you don't feel like yourself, or there's something you've been carrying that finally feels ready to be talked about. Therapy with me is a place to slow down and get curious about what’s really going on beneath the surface. We might explore what’s coming up in the moment, how stress shows up in your body, or the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.

Are you feeling completely exhausted, overwhelmed, or anxious? It is so draining to feel like you're constantly falling short, even when you are giving everything you have. Maybe you’re lying awake at night, mind racing about your kids, your future, or whether you're doing enough. As a counselor intern in Virginia, I understand how heavy it is to carry all of this while trying to keep up with daily life. It’s incredibly tough to honor your family and your roots while also trying to figure out your own boundaries. Let's work together to help you catch your breath.
