I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I specialize in working with children and adolescents with complicated profiles. I am trained in integrating play therapy with evidence based approaches such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more. I also offer supervision for Licensure and Association for Play Therapy credentialing.

Dr. Meg is a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, emerging adults, and families. She has expertise treating interpersonal trauma using relational and psychodynamic frameworks. She offers individual, group, and family psychotherapy, as well as consultation, training, and supervision. Dr. Meg is able to provide teletherapy and assessment services to clients in PSYPACT states.

I have been working in this field for almost 10 years, and up until August of 2021, I worked in community mental health which allowed me to work with people of all ages and needs. I have experience working with children as young as 2 and adults into their 70s. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Modular Approach to Therapy for Children and Adolescents. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults mostly processing trauma, working through anxiety, depression, relationships, codependency and developing healthy boundaries. More recently I have worked through my own Postpartum Depression.

I help guide my clients to understand how their upbringing, worldview, culture, personality, and view of self affect how they are feeling, behaving, and thinking currently. One goal of mine is to help my clients maximize their wellbeing by better understanding themselves through the use of coping tools like mindfulness to slow and calm themselves enough to be able to assess their own thoughts and emotions in the moment so as to minimize regrets while reducing mood and behavioral symptoms.
