I specialize in the treatment of disordered eating and co-occurring issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. I work with a full spectrum of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, compulsive overeating, and other unspecified disordered eating. During therapy we explore the underlying issues related to disordered eating, work to interrupt the cycle of disordered eating, and focus on building a better relationship with food. Together we will explore your needs and work towards solutions that support a healthy recovery. Many people recover from their eating disorder and so can you!
Care is offered with a supportive and compassion approach that explores the underlying issues of disordered eating , addressing the behavioral aspects and co-occurring issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. The focus is always to help each person find solutions that work, reduce symptoms, and work towards a meaningful and sustained recovery.
Living with an eating disorder can be complicated and touches many aspects of one's life often eroding one's health, self-esteem, and body image. Groups
Eating Disorder Recovery
This group is open for ages 18 and up, and for those dealing with various forms of disordered eating. The group will focus on building skills and confidence in the recovery process. There will be time for personal sharing, exploring the dynamics underlying disordered eating, body image restoration and ways to interrupt the disordered eating behaviors. The group process will include a variety of methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and experiential exercises. The group is limited to 10 participants. Participants MUST BE MEDICALLY STABLE.
