About
I listen carefully to your concerns in a warm, gentle and supportive environment. I will work with you to enhance your self-knowledge, self-esteem, life skills and confidence. After hearing your unique story, I work with you to set goals to help you get what you need and want. I share tools that can help stabilize your mood and change behaviors and thoughts that sabotage you. I can help enhance your relationships and make you feel comfortable in your skin and in the world. I have worked with many types of people and I enjoy meeting new clients and working together in the manner most comfortable to each person.
My specialty is stabilizing mood disorders, particularly depression and anxiety. These feel very distressing but are easily treated. I love watching people feel better using just a few tools and learned skills. I also help people cope with life transitions, such as graduating into a job, changing careers, getting married or divorced, grieving a loss.
I take an accepting and compassionate approach to my clients, no matter what they are wrestling with. I ask you not to judge yourself or feel afraid, but to reach out for assistance in becoming who you want to be, and reaching your goals.
