About

Each person enters therapy with one's unique personality and difficulties experienced within one's life situation. Through active listening and dialogue, my aim is to develop as clear an understanding as I can of your particular experience and concerns that have brought you to therapy. With respect for you and your situation, I want work with you in addressing what you want to work on. I draw from a variety of techniques in working with clients. One of the ways I work with clients is for clients to bring dreams to sessions.
I regard dreamwork as one of the most direct means for gaining access to a more in-depth awareness of one's psyche. At first glance, imagery that occurs in dreams often appears nonsensical to our modern rational mindset and defies immediate "logical" explanation. Dreams are, therefore, many times regarded as insignificant.
However, my experience has been that as one takes time to explore what the dream might symbolize, valuable discoveries are found. Dreamwork not only serves us by providing important insights, but the themes in dreams when applied to one's life contribute to well-being and the capacity to live more fully and freely.
