I like to consider myself a play connoisseur! I am a licensed professional counselor and a registered play therapist. I received a Master's degree in Counseling from Regis University and am currently enrolled in a doctoral program. I have advanced training in different play therapy modalities, sandplay therapy, and Theraplay, and truly specialize in working with children. People often tell you that you are so strong and brave and appear to “have it all together” but inside that feels so far from reality. Perhaps you feel guilty for spending too much time with the baby, or not enough time with the baby, or wanting time away from the baby. All of these are valid and deserve space to be said aloud. I work particularly well with anxiety and depressive related disorders. I have had success with treating these through evidenced-based treatments. Fears and doubts tend to overwhelm those with anxiety and depressive symptoms, however, my goal is to work with you to ensure your understanding of the true nature of these illnesses.
