My passion in life is to help individuals transform their lives. I find success when I see others blossom toward personal growth and development. I enjoy working with a wide variety of populations centered around the provision of emotional growth, expressive arts, and recovery. I have worked with many populations with struggling with eating disorders, addiction, and dual diagnosis.

I have more than 30 years experience in the areas of child and adolescent psychotherapy and school related difficulties. I have trained and worked in different countries and I have helped families from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. I have ample experience working with individuals, teens, young adults and families. I have worked with clients in a wide range of issues including anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, depression, trauma, anger and transition issues. I integrate CBT, psychodynamic, systemic and humanistic approaches depending on the problems and the personalities of my clients.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, a non-binary individual, I cater to the needs of my fellow members of the community, especially transgender individuals. I have advocated for the LGBTQIA+ community for about four years, returning to my former high school to educate the advanced health classes on gender, sex, sexuality, and gender expression. I provide a unique experience that leads to my ability to relate to my communities and understand what they're going through.

I believe that everyone deserves an environment where they feel comfortable enough to discuss their beliefs and feelings without judgment. I apply several theoretical orientations such as, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Theory in my practice to best meet my clients' individual needs. I work on building a strong therapeutic relationship using empathy and non-judgmental, goal-oriented approaches which assist client's treatment outcome.

I prefer to work with clients over 21 years old. I am gentle in my approach, am told I have a calming presence, and I have demonstrated the ability to be a peacemaker in troubled family situations. My faith and my good instincts have helped me to provide compassionate and professional care to my clients and to their families. I work with couples and individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other difficult and painful circumstances. I also have a wide array of life experiences and have survived difficult and painful times in my own life. I can offer hope, encouragement and help to those who seek healing.

I offer safe and accessible telehealth - virtual counseling sessions. Even positive transitions can be challenging, hard to understand, or embarrassing to discuss. School transitions, career changes, divorce, domestic violence, parenting differences, personal loss, dating issues, or other life transitions can sometimes seem overwhelming. Because of these changes, you may feel angry, confused, sad, conflicted, or alone. I am here for you, to help you develop skills to cope with life’s changes.

Hello! I am so glad you're here. While everyone needs a helping hand from time to time, it can sometimes be difficult to take the steps needed to seek out therapy. I commend you for the awareness and insight it takes to know when to seek out help. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the sunny state of Florida. I work with clients from a variety of ages, though primarily with children and teens as well as their families. I currently do not provide couples therapy.
