Hello, I am Jim Bennett ,Counselor. I have compassionately worked with families, couples, individuals, teens and groups for over 29 years. I have worked with these clients in a private practice setting and in an addictions treatment center setting. I have accomplished Masters Degrees in both Counseling and Clinical Psychology. I studied both disciplines to equip myself for assessment as well as treatment . I became a counselor to help teens navigate their way into adulthood. I quickly found that the family is where it all starts. Therefore, I focused on family/marriage counseling. From there I branched into addiction counseling.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over twenty years of experience in private practice, university settings, community agencies, and K-12 school settings. I help you challenge barriers and create solutions to living a fulfilled, happy life. I assist in identifying problems and patterns that affect you, both negatively and positively, and then facilitate a path to success. I provide counseling and therapy for positive and proactive change in adults.
