Greetings! I am one of the clinical psychotherapists at Prasada Center for Wellbeing. I have experience facilitating individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy for a diverse population of clients ranging in demographics and needs, both in English and Spanish, as well as in-person sessions and through telehealth. I have worked in various settings, including schools, daycares, inpatient/outpatient facilities, and in-home/community settings. My beliefs towards psychotherapy are similar to those embedded within existential theory: to encourage clients to reflect on life and recognize their range of alternatives.

In my 19 years as a therapist, I have worked with a range of clients, such as co-dependency, anger, OCD, phobias, panic disorders, and PTSD & trauma with individuals, couples, and families, and I have learned every client is vastly different. One thing that is the same is that the goal for the client is always moving towards living kind of the life they want to live. What that looks like is different for everyone because we all have our own set of values. But the stronger our values, the harder it can be to accept ourselves and others in the world. My practice incorporates body-oriented psychotherapies. I have advanced training in Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is widely used for the healing of trauma and dysfunctional behaviors. EMDR helps the client to access his/her inner wisdom and ability to heal him/herself. My clients report that they have received amazing benefits from EMDR.

Hello. My name is Laura Leone and I am in private practice that offers a lovely out-patient office setting. I have been involved in emotional health education and training for decades and completed my Master's in Mental Health in 2012.
