If you find that you or your child are struggling with unique and painful challenges, I am qualified to help. I do so by using clinical knowledge, compassion, respect, and humor to create a safe therapeutic environment for my clients to learn about and improve themselves. I have been working in the mental health field since 2006, and I've been working as a Therapist since 2010. Also, I am currently the Clinical Supervisor at a psychosis prevention clinic. I treat clients who have experienced severe mental illness (SMI) ranging from mood and anxiety disorders to chronic schizophrenia.
As a specialist in the prevention of mental illness, and as a family therapist, I am experienced in addressing behavioral issues and relational conflict. My results are and have been consistently positive. Helping others manage life's challenges is my most rewarding endeavor as a professional, and as a person.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Structured Interview for Psychosis-Risk Syndromes (SIPS) assessment, Portland Identification and Early Referral (PIER) model intervention, and Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT).
