I have had a full time private practice for 37 years first in NYC and then in Woodstock, N.Y. and work in an eclectic, multi-dimensional, creative way that is grounded in experience, practice, theory and open-mindedness. My training is based in interpersonal and self-psychology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy as well as mindfulness-based psychology. My knowledge of meditation, yoga and dance enables me to understand the complex nature of the mind/body connection as it relates to overall healing.
When a person comes to therapy, he or she needs to feel that the process they are beginning with me is sacred. I believe in creating a nonjudgmental environment that is safe emotionally, physically and psychologically. I specialize in addiction treatment, post traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety disorders as well as bi-polar disorder.
