Waitlist for new clients
Hey, I'm Evelynn! I enjoy working with a variety of issues, but I'm especially passionate about working with gender expansive clients! I'm a transgender woman, and my experiences absolutely inform how I approach working with my clients. I will provide space to explore which aspects of expression, pronouns, sexuality, and other elements you want to incorporate into your gender. There are no wrong answers, but we'll work together to find one you are comfortable with! I also have found neurodiversity (Autism Spectrum & ADHD) and eating disorders as additional specialties through working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
I've worked with the LGBTQIA2S+ community in education, clinical, and leadership roles. I've also worked with substance use and severe and persistent mental illness. I approach issues most often through a narrative, DBT, CBT, REBT, mindfulness, and existentialist lens. I'll use whatever intervention I feel is the most beneficial to you!
You've done well to start your journey! Seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness. You've instead demonstrated that you have chosen to evolve rather than resign. If my therapeutic orientation and personal identity appeal to you I encourage you to reach out! Email is the the best way to contact me, although phone calls certainly work too. Talk to you soon!
