We all have our own stories. Some are of resilience and how we overcome. Some are of tragedy and how we can’t move on. At the end of the day, I think all each of us wants is to be loved and accepted for who we are. No matter your story, I admire your courage for seeking the support you need. I use a mixture of Narrative and Gestalt therapy to help you understand your life story and take better control of it. We focus on the different sides of ourselves, while exploring the past that has led us to this moment, and work to build a better future. I am open, empathetic, and willing and able to stand with you in the chaos.
Clients can expect to be given the tools and techniques needed to know they are doing the best they can, at this moment, with what they have. While things may change from day to day, that is ok. Being at peace in this moment lets us tackle what comes next. Let's explore what that looks like.
My specialties include supporting clients with anger management, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ identity, and relationship challenges. I also have experience in gender-affirming counseling, transgender care, adolescent and teen issues, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
