Most of my clients have moderate to severe problems which significantly impacts their social, occupational, or school functioning. Many of my clients suffer from depression, anxiety, personality disorder, and more. Many of my clients have difficulty coping with past trauma. Oftentimes, present issues are chronic or recurring concerns. I have a few clients who suffer from chronic medical conditions (such as autoimmune disease, cancer, etc.) that has affected their emotional well-being. I offer support & guidance to help manage your mental health symptoms. In addition, prepare yourself for tools to build coping strategies.
Eclectic therapy is one approach I use in psychotherapy. In other words, I customize the therapeutic process by using whatever form of treatment or combination of treatments is MOST effective for your underlying issues. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I help individuals with disabilities achieve personal and career goals.
I offer a safe space to discuss personal challenges and gain insights into your behavior and thought patterns. I seek to understand your emotions and assist you in working towards positive changes in your life. Each session may include skill- building and problem-solving and resources. You will be held accountable for developed goals and follow through.
