I help children, teens, and families who struggle with learning, behavior by offering screenings, assessments, psychological, and neuropsychological evaluations so they can better understand their assets and learning potential. As a practitioner scholar and former faculty at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Teachers College I have created a social/cultural framework for assessment where I sit beside the learner (to assess means to sit beside) and gather evidence of what they can do, not only on standardized tests.
I use a portfolio ofobservations, documentation and keep track of their learning overtime.
My speciality is working with English language learners, students with disabilities from the US and other countries. My international practice has included families who speak Spanish, French, Greek and Arabic. I utilize a portfolios approach combining formal and informal assessment to create a neuropsychological evaluation.
