I work with men in their late teens to late 30s who feel emotionally disconnected or stuck despite appearing functional on the outside. Clinically and personally, I take my own maturation seriously, and that depth of engagement carries into the therapeutic work. Before becoming a therapist, I studied religious studies and ethnomusicology for years in India. I also owned and operated a sheep farm for five years in rural Tennessee. All these experiences led to me becoming the therapist I am today. Therapy isn't just my job, its my passion.

I adaptively integrate EMDR, IFS, DBT, existential processing work, psychodynamic, and relational approaches for individuals and couples. My work is strongly influenced by Eriksonian ideas around individual maturation, identity, and emotional development. I remain deeply engaged in ongoing psychoanalytic training and consultation to improve my work.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy playing my banjo with others, gardening, ocean fishing, and relaxing with my partner and dogs. I value a life that stays connected to creativity, spirituality, relationships, and maturation. Therapy works best when it feels genuine and human. My clients and I do deep work together, and I'm excited to possibly work with you!
