My goal is to create a safe space and a confidential work place for clients to address their problems ( anxiety depression, PTSD) with cognitive reframing and accessing of their inner strength and coping skills. I use CBT primarily with a psycho analytic twist as well as using motivational interviewing when it comes to matters of substance abuse. Every client deserves the opportunity to come through struggles and trauma in a meaningful resilient way.

I strive to create a collaborative arrangement that focuses on empowering the client to use their coping skills to live their best lives. Together we set an agenda for therapy based on what matters to the client the most. I specialize in geriatrics, veteran issues and nurturing strong couples through communication.

I value diversity and welcome individuals of all cultures, genders, sexual orientations, and spiritual/religious backgrounds. He offers an integrative, holistic and strengths-based approach to therapy. I strive to embrace clients in an environment full of empathy and compassion that focuses on the ties that bind us all together as human beings.

My technique for anxiety and /or depression is conversational and focused on establishing therapeutic rapport very early on. Then we move into modified CBT infused with motivational interviewing.
