About
You feel like your mind is in a constant state of overwhelm between your responsibilities to yourself, your job, your loved ones. The competing roles, running to-do list, expectations keep you up at night, making the days feel like survival mode: Will I ever feel normal again? When will I ever be able to catch up? Will I ever be able to reset and find calm? You feel it in your bones that you need a break to re-evaluate, but you can’t ever seem to make the time. Maybe you hold yourself to expectations that no longer fit your life, or maybe they never did. It's time to freedom in who you are now.
Collaboration is key. I draw heavily from solution-focused and cognitive behavioral techniques, and enjoy providing real-life, applicable skills and practices to take with you into real life, and get you feeling closer to yourself. You are the expert of you.
I hope sessions feel like conversations with a friend. A friend who can empathize, validate, gently challenge, question, or provoke new paths of thought or reflection. Whatever you wish to bring into session, I promise to meet you where you are, to be authentic as a real person, not just a therapist, and of course, sprinkle in a little humor as we go.
