About
I work with individuals, couples and families as well as adolescents ages 12-18. My areas of clinical focus includes traumatic brain injury (TBI), anxiety, COVID related isolation and stress, depression, grief and loss, managing stress and triggers, parenting, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), relationships, sleep and trauma. My 20 years of practice includes 12 years with active duty service members, veterans, and their spouses/partners and families guiding them through cycles of deployment and life transitions.
I work to provide couples and families with a shared language and common understanding and I work with my clients to identify goals to improve communication, emotional regulation, and problem solving. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, certified in telehealth and serve on the Brain Injury Advisory Committee of Ohio.
My goal is to create opportunities for self-exploration and greater awareness by making connections with symptoms, moods and the mind and body.
