At The Lazar Center, compassion, experience, and individual attention nurtures emotional growth. I offer a variety of psychological and educational services, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, social skills groups, consultation, and assessment in a warm and inviting setting. I am a NJ and NY Licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the education and mental health fields. I am a respected clinician and expert in child and adolescent therapy, providing evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and families.
I also provide social skills groups for motivated children and adolescents. Participants are accepted after a clinical interview to determine "goodness of fit" for the group. Group members are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. When working with groups, I use the evidence-based social skills intervention UCLA PEERS.
When clients enter The Lazar Center they are welcomed into a healing place...a tranquil oasis...a space dedicated to introspection, reflection, and emotional growth.
