As a psychotherapist, I take an integrative approach that includes contemporary relational psychoanalytic psychotherapy, EMDR, neuroscience, climate-awareness, social justice and contemplative-based trauma and resiliency training. In working with you I am direct and proactive with the goal to create an environment in which you can explore what feels alive. Our work together includes looking at your personal, family and cultural history, and the beliefs you hold about yourself and the world. We also may incorporate your dreams, memories or paying attention to the language expressed in your body.
I work with adults of all genders and backgrounds, supporting people navigating trauma histories, anxiety, depression, shame, self-esteem challenges, transitions, identity exploration, relational difficulties, and climate-related emotional distress. Please see my website for more details.

Having grown up in Germany, lived, studied and worked within multiple cultures and languages, I see how diversity, social structures, and gender roles shape people’s lives. I value diversity, how it forms and impacts our path and how it may impact therapy. My clinical work is antiracist and rooted in both personal and collective social liberation.

Climate Emotional Resilience Training (CERT)
CERT is an 8-week online experiential program designed to strengthen emotional resilience for mental health providers, educators, activists, researchers and public servants. Grounded in the Work That Reconnects, contemplative practice and community dialogue, the experiential course offers evidence-based practices that enhance self-regulation, compassion and sustainable engagement with a world in crisis. 10CEs are offered.
