I am a psychoanalyst and psychologist based in Coral Gables/South Miami with an additional location in South Beach. I specialize in talk therapy for people who want to overcome long-standing obstacles and achieve long-desired goals. My approach uses psychoanalytic principles to help us make sense of your struggles and pragmatic, solution-focused approaches for working through them. We will explore your unconscious patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior. Our goal is to strengthen your self-awareness and use it to make real, significant improvements in your life.
My specialties are in relationship difficulties; issues of gender and sexuality; eating and body image problems; and issues of culture and immigration. I offer therapy in English and Spanish. I also offer long-distance therapy for individuals that travel frequently, using HIPAA-compliant video sessions and phone sessions.
