I am deeply engaged with my clients, using an intimate and integrative approach, drawing when appropriate from a range of modalities and lenses. While I am trained in cognitive modalities such as CBT and DBT, and do utilize them often, I do my best work when looking and working through a Depth Psychology lens, helping others to become conscious of unconscious forces impacting their lives just below the surface of awareness. Depth Psychology offers a rich lens which, if peered through diligently, brings one to psychological maturation, improvements in mental health symptoms, and better attunement with the natural self.
People come to me for their own reasons, but always because they are suffering in some way. Sometimes the suffering is due to a mental health symptom, sometimes not. No matter the nature of the problem, I recognize my clients as dynamic individuals, so everyone's process varies, but we will always be aiming to alleviate the bonds of unnecessary suffering.
